5 Things You Should Know About Miramar Kitchen & Bath
Miramar Kitchen & Bath has been in business since 1991– that’s 27 years! We put together a list of some things we think you should know about us. Check it out!
1. Miramar Kitchen & Bath is a female-owned and family-operated business.
Nicole grew up in the remodeling business because of her dad. He owned a local manufacturing company who sold to bathroom and kitchen remodelers all over San Diego. Some of her fondest childhood memories are going to his factory and working with him. By the time she was 16, she was helping him run his showroom and doing bids for for his projects. In 1991, Nicole started her own business– Miramar Kitchen & Bath. Miramar Kitchen & Bath is now run by Nicole and her husband, Martin.
2. We have long-term installers.
At Miramar Kitchen & Bath, we do not hire day-laborers. We have three wonderful, trustworthy installers who have been with us for many years. In fact, our two longest-standing installers, Admiral and Joe, each had family members who worked with us prior to their employment!
Another fun fact for you: our estimator Jeff has been with us since the mid 90’s — he and Martin grew up playing soccer together!
3. Our owner, Nicole, is involved with professional organizations.
Nicole currently sits on the executive committee of the board of the Better Business Bureau serving the Pacific Southwest. In addition, Nicole was on the Board and ultimately became President of the local National Association of the Remodeling Industry, otherwise known as NARI. 4. We are a contractor.
We are a contractor that specializes in kitchen and bathroom remodeling. In addition to our contracting services, we have set-up our Design Center to be a one-stop-shop for clients who have chosen to remodel with us. Clients choose their materials in our Design Center, and we provide and install them!
5. We love pets!
When we say we love pets, we mean we LOVE pets! If you stop by our Design Center, there’s a fairly good chance that you’ll meet one of our dogs! Our Design Center is also very dog-friendly, so we’d love the chance to meet your furry friend!
Because Nicole is so passionate about animals, she frequently donates to local rescues and animal-related causes. We frequently sponsor some great events and would love to see you at one– check our calendar for upcoming events.
Of course there are some other things to know, like the fact that we keep our candy bowl stocked at all times, but we’ll save that for when you visit us in our Design Center!
