What safety measures are you taking?

In our Design Center:
We are cleaning/disinfecting surfaces after each appointment. We are also wearing masks and will have masks and hand sanitizer available if you need them.

In the field:
Our project managers and installers are expected to wear masks at all times. In addition, we provide our team with masks, hand sanitizer, and disinfecting wipes to ensure they are maintaining cleanliness.

How many customers are allowed in your Design Center?

We are currently working by appointment only and allow no more than two groups (one per consultant) in our Design Center at a time.

General QUESTIONS

Will you “beat any written estimate”?

We don’t believe this is a good way to choose a remodeling contractor. Our prices are always competitive. We pride ourselves on our customer service and quality workmanship. We are always very competitive in our pricing and give you the best price we can up front. Sometimes, people who are willing to match or beat the price up front, will end up charging you more once the job begins or lowering the quality of materials they use. Miramar Kitchen & Bath is a very cost conscious company. We will always give you choices about how to save your money. How much you choose to spend is up to you, not us, and we will do everything we can to help you make informed decisions for a quality, affordable remodel.

I'm looking for a specific product. Do you carry it?

Because we specialize in kitchen and bathroom remodeling, we do not sell any retail products. This includes, but is not limited to, items such as: vanities, kitchen or bathroom fixtures, etc..

What is the difference between a Design Center and Showroom?

Great question!

A Design Center (also called a Selection Center) is where you choose products and materials from a contractor who will supply and install them for you.

A Showroom is a retail store where you can purchase materials for your project.

Are you insured?

Yes. We carry worker’s compensation as well as general liability insurance and we’re fully licensed by the Contractors State License Board. But don’t take our word for it – please check for yourself when you have a chance.

Remodeling QUESTIONS

Do you reface kitchen cabinets?

We specialize in replacing cabinets, not refacing or refinishing.

How long will the job take?

Many of our bathroom remodels are completed within a week. This can vary depending on the scope of the work you choose.

Do I have to be home?

That’s up to you. We usually like you to be there on the first day to let the installer in so that you know who will be working in your home. Other than that, you can come and go as you please.

We’re fully licensed, bonded and insured and we have a great group of honest, upstanding installers working for us who we trust in our home as much as we trust them in yours.

How long will I be without water?

Water is only shut off for about 3 or 4 hours on the first or second day of each bathroom remodel. We never leave you overnight without water.

What happens if you find damage?

Our installer will notify you so that you can see the damage. Your salesperson will get you a quote for Miramar Kitchen & Bath to do the repair or you can do it yourself or have someone else do it, whichever you prefer.

Billing QUESTIONS

How do I pay?

We accept cash and checks.

How much money do I put down?

When you sign a contract with Miramar Kitchen & Bath we ask for 10% down or $1000, whichever is less.

Do you offer payment plans?

You will pay progress payments as your work is being done. You don’t pay the final payment until we’re done with the work in your home.

We also offer financing (O.A.C). Please see a sales associate for details.
