5 Ways to Design your Kitchen for Entertaining

If you love hosting parties, then you will want a kitchen that will help make hosting that much easier.

With Super Bowl quickly approaching, here are some ideas that will help you to improve the overall look and function of your kitchen for your Super Bowl party and parties to come:

Double Everything

If you enjoy cooking for all of your guests, there are two appliances you will want to consider for your remodel: a double oven and a double dishwasher.

Double Oven: Using a double oven will eliminate the hassle of prepping meals for your guests since you are able to cook different meals at the same time.

Super Bowl party tip: You can cook your buffalo wings and spinach artichoke dip at the same time using different settings.

Double Dishwasher: Ditch the paper plates and plastic forks. Forget loading the dishwasher multiple times when the party is over. Double dishwashers will allow you to enjoy the party without having the worries of keeping on top of the dishes.

Mount a Television

Between meal prepping and mingling, hosting a party can be a lot of work with very little time to enjoy yourself. If you’re hosting a Super Bowl party, chances are you will want to watch the game or commercials, too. Mounting a television in the kitchen is a great way to have the best of both worlds: tend to the kitchen while still being able to enjoy the game.

Create a Drink Station

Whether it’s alcoholic or non-alcoholic drinks, a drink station is always a must. Consider dedicating a space in the kitchen where you can store the drinks and glasses, and set up the station. To maximize the storage in the space, consider adding pull-outs. To complete the design, consider adding glass fronts to the cabinets that will allow you to show off your glassware.

Beverage Cooler

Want to keep guests from looking for drinks in your main refrigerator? Don’t like the look of ice chests? The perfect solution to that would be to add a beverage cooler in your kitchen. Bonus: if you’re a wine-lover, you’ll have somewhere to keep your wine year-round.

Countertops

If you host parties often, you will want to consider a countertop that is low-maintenance and can withstand mistreatment. A great option to consider is Dekton– see why here.
